Kokkuri-san (コックリさん) is one of the main characters of Gugure! Kokkuri-san series. He is a fox spirit who was summoned by Kohina Ichimatsu and he began to haunt Kohina after seeing how she lives as a 'doll' and also after seeing her terrible eating habit of cup ramen for every meal. He wanted to help her live better as her current life wasn't suitable for a young girl to grow up in and thus became her legal guardian.
Appearance[]
Kokkuri-san has long white hair, white ears and golden olive eyes (blue eyes in a colored version of the manga) in his male and female form.
Spirit Form[]
In his spirit form, Kokkuri-san's fur is yellow with a silver bell and it is shown that he had dyed his fur blonde in order to be more colorful and cute.
Female Form[]
In his female form, Kokkuri-san wears a pink and white yukata.
True Form[]

In Gugure! Shigaraki-san, it is revealed that he has a true form; a white nine tailed fox with bells around his neck.
Personality[]
Kokkuri is a protective and caring spirit of Kohina Ichimatsu; this is shown throughout the anime such as wanting Kohina to have more friends and taking care of her health. Also narcissistic - this is shown in episode seven when he was cursed and transformed into a woman. He tends to do all the house work, making him a clean freak. Kokkuri has also been shown to be sensitive about his age when he asked Kohina to "shut up" after she pestered him with questions regarding how old he actually is. Alongside this, Kokkuri is immensely sensitive to an unhealthy extent about his hair and fur, becoming a paranoid and stressed out mess when it comes to seasonal shedding and any possible signs in regards to his aging or fur falling out.
